February Sigil: Destiny Integrator
The new year brings something special to the table that hasn’t been available for a long, long time. An opportunity for full integration of all aspects of oneself. For some of us, we have been feeling dislocated and isolated. Almost as if there were pieces of us left behind, or put somewhere for us to finally find. Knowing oneself is the process of a lifetime, or perhaps, if you subscribe to such things, a process of many lifetimes.
Due to the many crises, the advent of new technologies, revelations of the past, the recent and the ancient, the crumbling of old kingdoms, and the budding of new ones. It only makes sense that this is also true in the changes available to each soul that is on this earth. Not all souls need to do anything this lifetime and that is fine. But where do you stand? Are you wanting to reveal more about your own soul, and your own destiny?
“You can’t really know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been.” said Maya Angelou. This month’s sigil helps you decipher that simple truth for you.
Each symbol in this sigil denotes a certain aspect of oneself and one’s past. All that you need to move towards your own unique destiny.
The Spiral (Vortex): What is your own unique way of moving through the world that gets your blood pumping? When you feel ecstatic, inspired and full of energy? That brings you the surge of life that fuels all of your endeavors.
The Triangle (Prism): What brings you peace and deep, inner guidance? When you disconnect from the world, and it only leaves you and your connection to Spirit. What does this look like to you? Nature? Meditation? Music? I had a client that takes ultra marathons. She said it was the only time she got to commune with her deepest self.
The Circle within a Circle (Integrator): Who do you feel the most comfortable with? The tribe that you just fall into, where you feel compelled to help and support? You might only have just yourself, a partner, or your family as a tribe. For some it could be your country, or a group that follows a religious/spiritual/political ideal. What do you identify with? What leaders or teachers do you gravitate towards? How do you integrate these teachings into your own life?
The Triangle within a Circle (Initiator): In what way do you lead others? When others come to you for advice or inspiration what exactly are they inspired by? This is the symbol that motivates others around you to work harder, and reach further than they’ve ever done before. In what ways do you influence others?
This is a meditation sigil. Allow yourself to contemplate each symbol separately. Try not to ‘think’ about it. There will be things that come to mind. Let them be part of the background, they are important. But also allow other little revelations to come up from the unconscious. You might be surprised by what emerges. Moments from the past will bring insights where you’ve embodied these aspects. When you decide to focus on the big symbol at the top (circle within a circle), see how these things about yourself relate to each other, overlap and connect. Again, allow for the unconscious to bring you little gems and gifts of insight.
The line at the top is deliberately open. This is the future you are moving towards. Perhaps an image comes to mind when you look at the blank space above the line. I encourage you to print out this sigil or draw it out. Is there something you want to draw at the top? It might be a special symbol unique to you, a picture, or some impactful words.
